From 17th to 20th July 2024, MixTape Drinks (Vietnam) is bringing PÁ (Norway) to the discerning foodies of Ho Chi Minh City at its taproom at 40 Đặng Thị Nhu, Nguyễn Thái Bình Ward, District 1.
Expect the collaborating duo’s KaBao Pop-Up Party to be a fusion of Nordic creativity and traditional Taiwanese flavors that go like two peas in a pod with the help of MixTape’s extensive line of craft beers, hard soda, and hard tea.

A trendy street food brand based in Oslo, PÁ was founded by Hsiang Hsiang Wang from Taichung and her Taiwanese friend, with a mission of bringing Taiwanese culinary tradition and its unique flavors to Norway.
Beyond PÁ’s signature, Taiwanese-style stuffed Gua Bao “split buns” filled with Taiwanese-style braised pork, pickled vegetables, peanut powder, and cilantro, an equally delicious vegetarian tofu version is also available for an inclusive experience. Just for the occasion, chewy deep-fried sweet potato balls with ume powder to spice up the Taiwan vibes at KaBao.
“Resembling a wallet, the Gua Bao symbolizes a wallet brimming with money. Hence eating Gua Bao signifies abundant wealth!” Wang explained.

PÁ’s name was inspired by the phrase tsiah-PÁ-buē, a common Taiwanese greeting that means “Are you full?”. Like many other Asian cultures, being asked whether one has had a meal in Taiwan is an endearing way to say hello.

For the occasion, MixTape is introducing a new Bubble ParTea Hard Tea as a pairing for PÁ’s Taiwanese goodies while paying homage to the ubiquitous yet eternally popular boba tea shops of Taiwan and beyond.

An evolution of MixTape’s ParTea Hard Soda that’s made with green tea leaves used to brew boba milk tea in Taiwan, MixTape’s Bubble ParTea is available in red or green and topped with yuzu boba pearls that add a zesty, textural bite to every sip.
If hard tea isn’t your cup of tea, MixTape Saigon also offers over 15 beers on tap, with everything from sour to sweet, dark to light, and non-alcoholic options for teetotalers.
